For when your in captivity and need to prove your worth as a musician.
From the early beginnings of the guitar before the 15th century to today, guitars have changed a lot. At first, guitars had a lot alike with a ukelele. They had 4 pairs of strings and were quite small. After much experimenting with the construction of the instrument, the guitar began to be as popular as the lute in the 17th century. Antonio de Torres made the modern guitar that we know today and from that point, guitars have evolved to what they are today.

Today there are three basic types of guitars. A classical guitar, an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar. Each instrument has it's purposes and it's specialties and has shaped music from classical composers and religious officials to modern bands and leisure.
When your captor asks you, "Why should you live?"
Tell them, "I can play guitar for you." With this step by step process, I will teach you the methods of making music so beautiful, that your captor will have to set you free.
Step One, holding the guitar, If you are right handed, that is the hand you will use to strum with (If your left handed do the exact opposite). Hold the guitar so the base of the guitar is resting on you right leg. The lowest sounding string should be on top and nearest to you with the highest furthest. If it's tuned right, the next part is easy.
Your captors are getting impatient, so now it's time for step 2, learning how to play. You must gently strum the string in smooth and fast motions while playing. Your left hand should come up from under the neck and press with all your fingers but not your thumb. When pressing strings, your fingers should be pressing down right before the next fret.
